This summer we got some cats from my brother. Grant wanted a cat and when they went to get the cats they came home with two! Glenn said they would be "garage" cats and would stay there most of the time but will come in to "play" occasionally. The one cat was Grant's and the other was suppose to go to someone else but he was very fluffy and cuddly, he stayed too, and became Cole's cat. Grant choose the name Dash. Cole had a bit of a harder time to decide what to name his cat - Flash, Cuddyer, Furball, ---became Fluffball. They are fun to watch and they have grown a ton. They are mostly in the garage but now in the morning when they want to come in they scratch on the door! I don't tolerate them on the table and when they get into my curtains they have to get out! But they are kind of nice (don't tell my family).
This brings us to the topic of today. Do animals live in heaven? Glenn and I didn't know. They don't have souls but God made them and set them in place for man to rule over. They are very beautiful and unique creatures, the flood did not destroy them. Will all kinds of animals be on the new earth? We may have to wait until we get there to find out.

So wish I knew the answer to that! But can't see as I will this side of Heaven. For example, our loveable dog we've had for 12 years...she's part of our family. Does she "return to dust" or do we get to see her in Heaven. I guess we'll wait and see and just tell our kids we don't know yet.
Well, the book of Revelation mentions animals, I don't think God would blip out a part of his creation, the earth was perfect when he made it with the animals. Why wouldn't he include then in the new creation?
