I am a coffee bean. Coffee beans need to be roasted and ground before they become of any use to their Master. A bean must not remain whole on it's own but ground finely and then it becomes an appetizing aroma especially when the Living Water is poured upon it. My goal is to be a pleasing aroma to my God and Savior.

This week
We are surviving -- Glenn is gone fishing this week, up north, near Canada but still in Minnesota. There is not any cell phone service there! The boys are missing him already, but it has just been one day! I am trying to think of activities we can do, just to stay busy. So I painted in the morning, Cole had summer rec, we met friends at the campground to swim, and then Grant had a ballgame. We were busy yesterday. It's raining this morning, but may clear up, not sure on that. Sometimes it is just nice to talk to your hubby on the phone when he is on a trip, you can get another perspective, so it's not so nice when they are out of cell phone range. What did we do before the cell phone? I'm old and I can remember when we didn't have them. We are spoiled today with modern conveniences. Wonder what technology our kids will have when they get our age. I can hear them now -- "Yeh, when my parents were born, they didn't even have cell phones or ___________! How did they ever get along without it."
