Living Forever

Thanks to all who shared their wedding story!
Today is the last day of the year. We look back to where we were, but we also look ahead to where we are going! My destination is not of this world. I used to be scared to talk about it, that maybe it would happen too soon if I did. But my Lord has it all planned out from the beginning, it will happen at the right time! I look forward to no more pain, sorrow, no more ___________ - you fill in the blank. I think my destination is too wonderful to imagine. One thing I know is that I will be with my God and Savior, living forever!

Let me tell you a little story about my son. Several years ago, I felt I needed to share salvation with him. But I couldn't tell him, "You have to do this!" Because my son always does the opposite of what I tell him, just in his nature. So I was praying that God would give me the opportunity to share with him. God did. We were talking and the subject came up of death. I said, "There is a way that you can live forever."
"There's a way I can live forever?"
"Yes, there is a way to live with God forever. Your body on earth will die but you, the part that laughs and thinks can live forever with God. Do you want to know how?" Head nod.
"You just ask God to forgive your sins and ask Him to come into your heart."
"What do I have to say?"
"Please forgive my sins, Jesus and come into my heart." He repeats that.
He was so happy, he runs to Glenn in the next room and says, "I'm going to live forever!"
