I am a coffee bean. Coffee beans need to be roasted and ground before they become of any use to their Master. A bean must not remain whole on it's own but ground finely and then it becomes an appetizing aroma especially when the Living Water is poured upon it. My goal is to be a pleasing aroma to my God and Savior.

Boys will be Boys
Yesterday, the boys went out with a neighbor boy to a creek that is not far from our house. Cole, our youngest, came back about 20 minutes later soaked to the knee in mud because his one leg had fallen into the creek when he tried to jump across. He said they had found some field mice swimming in the creek and were trying to catch them! YUCK! I hate mice. Glenn came home and stopped by to tell Grant to come on home. Grant wasn't home yet by the time we were ready to eat, so we sat down and started. We found out then from Cole that Grant took a dead mouse on the bus last week and scared some girls! He said the girls were screaming. Grant came home, feet, pants and boots wet, and Glenn asked him about it. He just sort of smirked, not admitting anything. Glenn told him that he shouldn't do it again, but could see why it was kind of a fun thing to do. But that he just can't bring mice on the bus and that we weren't mad. Cole then said that the girls were screaming, Grant quickly said that they did not scream. I can't believe Grant got that one by me, he must of picked the container up outside on the way to the bus! I guess that is the thing about being a mom of boys you never know what will come up next!
