Can You Lick Your Elbow?

Here is another Supper table discussion.
"Can you lick your elbow? Bet you, you can't."
Mom tries. - (Go ahead my bloggy friends, I know that you are all wanting to try it right now!)
Dad says - "It's impossible, no one can touch their elbow with their tongue."
Son - "I bet Jesus could, He can do anything, He is the Almighty Savior."

We almost tried to tell him that even though Jesus is the "Almighty Savior" when He was on earth he was strapped to the confines of the human body. I want to grow the belief, Jesus can do anything if it is God's will. Our God is a God that can do anything! He can do the impossible and the unlikely. He is the God of miracles. Often we can put Him in a box, because of unbelief. It is a blessing to witness the faith and awe of a child and my job as a parent is to foster that faith. He can make a mountain move if you ask Him in faith.
Go ahead and ask! He probably could touch His elbow with His tongue, who am I to say He couldn't.
He replied, "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."Matthew 17:20

Short but oh so sweet Steph! And very convicting - one of my more frequent prayers is for more, or maybe real, faith.
