Holy Ground

Janelle over at http://ihavebeenchanged.blogspot.com/2009/01/holy-ground.html and Chris over at http://experiencingraceandpeace.blogspot.com/ talked about holy ground. Where they meet with God and experience that holy ground. I have a holy ground too. I guess before I read their posts I never thought of it before. But God shows me He is with me every morning. Did you know that the skies show the glory of the Lord? It tells us in Ps 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Isn't that cool. I have a sun room facing east. Every morning I see the "work of His hands." I read His word and am encouraged by His awesomeness. Here are a few of the awesome displays. The picture above was taken yesterday. I had wanted to take a picture on Monday but my camera had a dead battery. I missed the shot but God in all his glory gave be a better picture so I could boast about Him!

Isaiah 45:12It is I who made the earth and created mankind upon it. My own hands stretched out the heavens; I marshaled their starry hosts.

Jeremiah 32:17"Ah, Sovereign LORD, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.

This one was taken the day after we moved into our new house. What a glorious house warming gift from our God! All Praise and Honor to Him!

Steph, awesome pictures!

I must admit, I'm more of a sunset girl - I have a window that I can look out as I'm preparing the evening meal that faces West - but the sunrises in our area have been so beautiful these past few weeks; sometimes they bring me to tears.

Wonderful pictures. So self centered I can be...great reminder at how BIG God is. And what a priviledge it is to be His child.
